I always thought Ralph was special, a kind and spirited soul. Day-to-day friends since kindergarten at Wyncote Elementary and up through our college years, we re-connected on Facebook in 2010 & kept in touch the way you do when you haven't actually seen someone in many years but retain a special bond nonetheless. I was heartbroken to hear of his passing in St. Thomas during Hurricane Maria in September 2017. It's poignant how much you can miss someone you haven't actually seen in decades... RIP, my friend.
